Neues Palais (1769), Sanssouci Park, Potsdam, Germany

The palace with over 200 rooms was build by Frederick the Great (Friedrich der Große) between 1763 and 1769 and was used for the reception of important royals and dignitaries, for balls and state occasions. In 1859 it became the summer residence of German Emperor Frederick III during his 99 days reign, followed by William II.
