I don't know how I missed this part of London Bridge Underground station with the amount of times I have visited this place. This is what I really like about photography, no matter how many times you look around a place there is always something new to take an image off, especially when you find a hidden gem like this.
You'll probably ask how I managed to get it so quiet, well I had to time it between trains as the Northern Line platforms are just down these tunnels and they seem to have quite a regular pattern so didn't have to wait too long to get a couple of empty tunnels :-).
The image was quite hard to take handheld with a shutter speed of 0.5 seconds, maybe I should have bumped up the ISO to 400 but I didn't want too much noise in this. The post processing involved a B&W conversion in Silver Efex Pro 2 and then bit of selective colouring with the yellow barriers. Then back into LR4 for sharpening etc and then into PTLens for distortion correction.
With regard to the little project of taking an image at each station for one London Underground line, I did get quite alot of positive response from you all with regard to it so I might do it very soon. I'm not sure how long it would take me but I think to start with I'll pick the shortest line.
Also I have had some good news with regard to one of my images but can't divulge the information yet, I'll keep you posted so watch this space! :-)
