A hard pay's job at the electric lines

The circumstances here are tough. Crazy unemployment (more than 23%), too many hours of work and no money.

This is what they call depression, i suppose.

This photo is of a man who fixes the electricity lines. They used to be paid well and used to be well trained.

Now, private companies hire people who are in need, untrained and with no insurance with just a fraction of the money the public used to pay.

Of course, if you are qualified for such a job this does not mean you are going to get hired.

The reason behind this is because in such a case you will ask for your rights and will want to do your job as well as possible. But who said that companies want this? Good employees cost.

This is a reality more and more common for Greeks everywhere. A reality of my own too. Hanging on the air with no insurance and no prospect. Just to survive.
