In July 2012, we went to the 31st International Motorcycle Meeting of the Moto Clube Faro in Portugal to make a personal photographic project about the bikers involved.
In the 70s, in Faro, Algarve, Portugal, a motorcycle group of friends decided to create an
association with activities like motocross or racing.
They could never have imagined such a major success and the association "Moto Clube Faro" was formalized February 5, 1982.

In 1982, then, was created a motorcycle meeting, which at this time counted about 200 bikers.
Since that time, every year in July, the Moto Clube Faro meeting opens with a participation, always increasing, of bikers from all around the world.
11.000 participants in 1995, 29.000 in 2002 and today more than 80.000 people involved
during 4 days.

Moto Clube Faro also invests throughout the year in social work and helps Algarve region if necessary.
Moto Clube Faro group has about 500 members and is chaired by M Jose Amaro.
