Normally I like to shoot sunsets, and I feel I still have alot to learn in that area. But shooting in the winter with these thick overcast clouds, presents a new challenge with even more to learn. But anyway, driving out today it again was both snow and rain in the air but getting to the location it magically all stopped, and I managed to get this shot of. Happy that I have the D800E + Zeiss + C1p7 combo for a couple of reasons.

It was really dark out there, even if it does not show on the image, luminating the focus ring on the Zeiss with the iphone flashlight using the old-school focus indicators to achive hyperfocual, so happy with that because I could not have done that through the viewfinder or liveview. The other reason of happines is that even though this is a 4min exposure it more or less came out almost black, but with the dynamic range in the D800E and C1p7 to pull out all the details it still came out sorta ok in the end.
