After a productive sunrise shoot over the Minack Theatre and Porthcurno Beach, I ws making my way back to the car when I spotted this young Kestrel resting on a nearby fence post. I quickly [but quietly] put my bag down and swapped my wide angle lens for my zoom and slowly stacked him/her to get a couple of shots before it flew off. Anyone who knows my work will see straight away that this isn't my 'bag' but I'm game for most things. I have taken images of falcons and birds-of-prey in captivity, but this was made all the more special by the fact it was in the wild.
