A powerful geomagnetic storm seen on the Moray Coastline in August 2011. The clouds broke sufficiently, for a long enough period of time to get a glimpse of the arc behind Bow Fiddle Rock.
This is a 3 minute exposure amplifying any light pollution. I was a little disappointed to see the redness in the clouds and on the rock carry over from the streetlights of nearby village Portknockie
