Went for a drive in our land rover last night, up to the Bláfjöll (Blue mountain) ski area.. was reminded of one of the most important rules of photography: Never leave your tripod behind, no matter what you expect (or don't expect) to see. In this case, the lights from the ski lifts lent an air of apocalyptic drama to the snowy landscape. The best I could do was crank up the iso and try to hold the camera steady for a second or so.. just to try and capture some of the mood at least. Noisy as hell, but still kinda beautiful.
