I shot this last spring at the Weston-Westport, Connecticut Relay for Life. My sister worked as one of the organizers for the event and asked me if I'd be willing to lend a hand by offering my photographic skills for free to capture the event. I did and I'm so glad that I did. It was an incredible event all around with all sorts of photographic opportunities throughout the nearly 24-hour event. This shot here was one of my favorites, shot tripod mounted while participants walked around the track with their glow sticks and the luminaria on the bleachers in the background spelled out "HOPE." This was a truly beautiful and remarkable portion of the event. I hope any of you reading this have the opportunity to attend one of these wherever you live. Help fight cancer!
