I got the privilege to work as a pilotassisten/survey equipment operator for Heli Greenland, at summer 2012. It was a part of the NASA's IceBridge project. The survey operation took near, at the inland ice, Ilulissat (Greenland).
At some days we flew for 10 hours straight, with 2 refueling stops.

This was one of the best job I've ever had! One of the good parts was that I were granted to control the helicopter, so I got somewhat of 1 hour flying experience ( but lots of hours a passenger) :-D

The PIC (Pilot-In-Command) in this picture is Martin, who was born i Ireland.

I still hope to become a helicopter pilot someday.
