Since exploring the rainforests and jungles of Thailand, mainland Malaysia and northern Borneo, the most endearing family of primates I've come across are the Langurs, also know as Leaf Monkeys and, more locally, Lutungs.

Langurs live together in social groups averaging around 12 in number, they are arboreal - seldom if ever coming down to the ground - and feed primarily on leaves, and various different species are found throughout Southeast Asia.

The subject you see here is a young Dusky Langur (AKA Dusky Leaf Monkey) I encountered back in February (2011) while on a trip to Taman Negara National Park in the northern part of the Malay Peninsular. Dusky Langurs are also sometimes called Spectacled Langurs, a reference to the distinctive white skin surrounding their eyes, though if you chose to refer to them as Got Milk Langurs I'd immediately understand which species of Leaf Monkey you were talking about ;^)
