I'm back from what has turned into 7 months offline for me. No posts to any forums or anything except checking my email because I've been busy and was just tired of it. My days during this time have been filled with travels and shooting to all ends of the continent once again and have spanned across Alaska and the Far North of Canada to the desert Southwest, Canadian Rockies and many other locations. NEW work has been uploaded to my website, thanks for your thoughts on this.

This photograph is one of my favorites from my recent collection and depicts the wet world inside an ice cave inside a glacier in Alaska, which I photographed extensively as I was making a 35-day long solo backpack across the Boundary Range, one of the most glaciated places in the world. The trek was extremely memorable, but nothing for me surpassed the experience of being inside these crystalline blue-ice caves which in one glacier continued through a multitude of passageways for nearly a mile!

I got absolutely soaking wet for this shot even despite a lot of Goretex but I wanted a shot showing off the furious water action I was standing in most of the time. Other images from the glacial caves show off the ice formations and other areas inside.

The image is two exposures blended carefully by hand from a 14mm lens on the D800E.
