A Major Australian coal fired electricity station in Victoria.

I used to work for a major utility in Australia (AGL) at the time that they purchased this power generation capability. It was a huge deal at the time and somewhat of a landmark purchase for AGL back then.

When we were driving back from Melbourne on our xmas holidays we happened to drive near to Loy Yang power station (totally unplanned) and I was keen to take a detour to see it.

Awesome place, huge open cut mine with railroad tracks etc and the large factory/power station you see in the distance.

Would be epic at sunset i suspect.

Being "Brown power" / coal based there is a reasonable amount of negatitivity about this power station, so i though to create a bit of an evil mood around this environmentally unfriendly behemoth with the Keep out sign, the wire fence and the black and white treatment.
