When people think busy New York streets they might think of the crowds of people and the bumper to bumper traffic, but it's just as hectic right above street level. Here's a shot of Broadway from the vantage point of Canal Street, looking north. Just beyond Canal and to our west is the "trendy" area of SoHo. To the east are the vibrant neighborhoods of Little Italy and Chinatown. The Chrysler building looms in the distance. This part of the city is beautifully hectic and a wonderful mix of cultures. The blocks are packed with everything from food stands to clothing boutiques to tattoo parlors to street vendors and more. It's noisy, it's gritty, it's alive, it's New York!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
