One of the smallest, friendliest and most intelligent birds, the chickadee thrives through our brutal winter months. They seem to know that humans (most of us) are not a threat and therefore seem to have no fear. I've seen many that will land on someone's hand for a treat. Getting them to keep still for a moment is another story though :)
