Denali National Park is a place of constant change - the landscape, the wildlife, the weather, amongst other things. This is what it looks like in very early fall when it has just snowed the day before. What a gorgeous scene the next day as the skies are clear, the sun is out, it's still very cold (yeah, for me), and there's a sense of stillness and excitement in the air.

At this time, the moose rut is in progress, so hiking off the road isn't allowed in this critical habitat area. Oh, but it's so tempting .... but alas, just a few miles down the road, you can escape the roadside and get yourself literally lost in the incredible landscape of wilderness (very few trails) of Denali.

Doesn't the spirit just call you?
