A recent trip to one of my favorite places, Huntington Gardens in California. I discovered a new area (!!) - a greenhouse of special succulents and cactus, which are my favorites. The only bummer is that I can't use my tripod in there, because the tables are too close together and people can't walk by. That's interesting because all of the people that had to walk "around" me pretty much unanimously had friendly comments for me, inquired about my work, or saw what I was lining up through the LCD and professed enthusiasm for what I doing. The only people who complained, and asked me to fold up my tripod were the volunteer curators supervising the exhibit. I was a good boy, though, and obediently switched to handheld.
