Here's something different I wanted to share with you. This morning I decided to have another go at the shelf ice at Lake IJsselmeer. With temperatures getting higher and higher now, the ice won't stay for long. The light wasn't as good as I had hoped, but nevertheless it was worth a try. Trouble was I couldn't reach the spot on the ice I wanted to go. The ice was simply impassable. I slipped and glided all over the place and I had no choice but to settle for a spot near the edge of the ice field. So please forgive the lack of composition on this one. It was processed in Nik Silver Efex Pro for black and white conversion. No HDR and no ND filters were used. All that was needed was a decent amount of 'expose to the right' technique.
