I shot this photo today (Jan. 31, 2013) when I was walking through downtown Portland on my way to a commercial photography client’s offices. I always carry my Fujifilm X-E1 with its film-like X-Trans digital sensor because I just “see” things as I conduct my commercial photography business. I just love the way the architects ensured that light reflected off that building would truly look pinkish. The building is the US Bancorp Tower and is nicknamed “Big Pink.” So there’s that. I sat under this fountain that sits just to the east of the tower. Does anyone know the name of that fountain? I ask because I don’t.
