This is a repost of an image I uploaded a few monts back, but have re-edited it slightly. I am happier about how it looks now, removed a slight green colourcast. I Was fortunate enough to follow a male and female Leopard for a while one afternoon in the hope of capturing some mating action. Light was not in my favor, thus the slow shutter speed, but I felt it added superbly to the sense of movement and action captured. Right after pulling away, because of pain inflicted on the smaller female, she would normally fly around trying to swat at her tormentor. I waited and started firing off a few frames hoping that I could capture the action, and boy was I pleased with the eventual results. The streaky sand grains being created by my compelled choice of shutter speed, really appealed to me, never mind capturing the extremely rare moment of mating, and more over, mating of shy and secretive leopards.
