Last weekend, myself and three of my mates went for a photo expedition to the Sawarna Beach. It is located at the South Coast of Java Island. It is very different than the North Side, as the South Coast sports quite an interesting rock formation and bigger waves, which is ripe for photo opportunity.

I could say that this was my first opportunity to shoot a 'real' landscape. The journey took 8 hours in the car plus an hour walk back and forth to the beach. I got to learn a thing or two about seascape photography as well from my other mates.

This photo was processed using 2 exposures of +1 and -1 using luminosity masking and then finished off in CS5 using different tools and Nik Software suites.

I honestly not too happy with how it turned out, but it is my first try. Hope to reprocess this later on when my skill improved.
