Sunrise through the smoke of nearby forest fires. Glacier National Park. It was a beautiful and surreal morning on Lake McDonald.
During the last summer season I traveled all over the western US teaching photo workshops and doing art shows. The amount of forest fires all burning at the same time was staggering. I spent 8 weeks on the road, and I only saw a few days without heavy smoke. I've never seen anything like it and hope I never see it again.
