A few fellow photogs and myself met up to shoot the sunrise over Lake Michigan up in Evanston. The light seemed like it would not come as the clouds were pretty boring and blocking most of the horizon. Just as we were thinking of taking off, the clouds broke some and the sun started shining away. It only lasted about 15 minutes, but we captured what we could. This was one of my resulting images, three exposures blended mainly for the detail in the old pier.
