"The Chinese Garden of Friendship is nestled at the south end of Darling harbour and a short walk from Chinatown. Entering the gardens is like walking backwards in time into the quiet solitude of ancient Chinese architecture and it's relationship with nature. The garden combines the elements of water, plants, stone and architecture."

Entry fee is usually $6 per person but free during Chinese New Year :) A very photogenic place. Just a word of warning it is very full during this time. Expect to be waiting in line for about 2 hours if you arrive around lunch time as there is a max of 300 people to be let in at any time. We waited about 40 mins to get inside but stayed for 1.5 hrs just taking photos. It is well worth the wait.
