Timing was in my favor this day. After rushing to get to this spot after work, I thought I missed my opportunity. I wasn't too thrilled to have no clouds to help add contrast to the sky. But luckily, as I was rushing to set up my try-pod, the moon start peeking over the top of Mt. Shuksan. And then to top it off, I got a quick alpen glow for a matter of 2-3 minutes. About 15 minutes later, a small cloud developed and obstructed this view and the sky turned very blue. Once again, timing was everything.
