This was taken last Friday morning after a quick winter storm blew through Yosemite. When I first arrived in the park on Friday morning at 6 AM, I was literally the only one standing at the tunnel admiring the new snow for about 20 minutes before someone else finally showed up. And then it was just the two of us shooting brackets of the snow covered valley. Made it worth getting up at 4 AM and putting on chains to make it up there before everything melted off. This particular spot grabbed my eye as I was headed to the Gates Of The Valley View and I quickly took a 14 shot pano with the Nikon 14-24.
