Fort Alang is in Nashik district, Maharashtra, India. It is one of the three forts, the others being Madangad and Kulang, in the Kalsubai range of the Western Ghats. Alang, Madan and Kulang, they are the most difficult forts in Maharashtra. Dense forest and less population have made these treks difficult. These three forts are little neglected due to very heavy rain and difficult as well as confusing ways to go.
Alang and Madan fort trek include rock climbing. The height of the fort is approx.4,500ft.The range is known as AMK ( Alang - Madan and Kulang ) range.
Clicked this photo in the last stages of monsoon. Mighty AMK range is surrounded by clouds was a beautiful sight indeed.
