Yesterday I spent the day with a couple of photography buddies (Mark Kinsman & Mark Baldwin) making the most of the little winter snow we've had. 560miles and 2 tanks of gas it took to complete our round trip from home, to Openlands (West side of Lake Michigan) to Little Sable (East side of Lake Michigan).
At times it looked like it would be a wash out due to the flat sky, but each time we got to a location, the sky seemed to cooperate for us. Cloudy at Little Sable, but enough nice texture in the clouds to provide interest, so we were happy.
Great day with some good photographers, if not a tiring one!
