I had visited a few nights before but returned on my final evening hoping for a sunset. I had planned to be on the other side of the loch but as the tide was out it was decided this area was best.
This was "after the sun had gone down" and I use that term loosely! The tide was slowly moving in, meaning a couple of steps back every minute or so but it eventually lead to this nice bit of railway track to use to lead into the castle. Having reflections on the loch was a bonus.
