At 4810 meters, Mont Blanc in the French Alps is the tallest mountain in Europe. This view of the mountain in the early summer was taken at sunset at the Col des Aravis, Haute-Savoie, France, which, at about 1500 meters, is a popular touristic village with ski resorts in the winter.
