A mile away from sleepless downtown Toronto, the Centre Islands are full of loneliness in the winter. Only one ferry line is still operating, and less than a dozen passengers are heading out to this darkness, most of whom actually live there. I'm probably the only adventurer tonight, with excitement and hope covered under thick winter jacket. I'm not lonesome tonight, as I can't wait to see the beauty of the city from its little bro's front yard. I know I will not regret.
