The castle of Serralunga d’Alba (year 1357) is located on the top of the hill in the middle of the village. The area is an hilly countryside called Langhe that is very famous for its wines (Nebbiolo, Barbera, Barbaresco, etc.), cheeses, and the white truffles of Alba. This picture was taken during a quite nice sunset from a road in front of Serralunga. The autumn colors of the vineyard are still green and yellow with very few red, but I think it is anyway a pleasant view.
