Hey everyone! Long time no see!
Here I am back again, after a period of silence due to life being quite busy and demanding at the moment.
After my "black" series (still going on with it) this is a new series, this time exploring white, snow, the trees and mountains also the feelings all these all bring to me. I believe a mountain covered in fresh snow is one of the best places to find oneself and make peace with one's past, present and future. That's why the title I gave to this series. The removal of almost all the things we normally see in a scene and that remind us about life as it is, which is what the snow does to a place, suddenly brings to surface the spirit of the place, purified of everything, showing its primordial state and this has an extremely powerful effect on our spirit and soul, purifying and liberating them.
I'm not seeing snow too often here in Greece and when I do I have to travel quite far to reach it. that's why this trip to the Pindus mountains (that I did mainly to shoot this series you will see from me these days) brought me a lot of joy and I can say exaltation too. I just love to find myself in an immensity of white, with noone around me for as far as I can see, just me and the mountain, the snow, the trees and my thoughts. Priceless, and this series is the result of this experience. I'll post a few photos over the next few days and I still have a few that I'm working on and will post afterwards.

I will be teaching as a co-instructor in the Chicago Fine Art Architectural Photography Workshop , September 5-8, this year. The team of instructors is an outstanding one, international award winning fine art photographers Joel Tjintjelaar, Sharon Tenenbaum and cinematographer Armand Djicks. This event is going to be a fantastic experience, I can guarantee you that. If you are interested and want to keep in touch, sign up for the Keep Me Posted newsletter of the workshop here http://bit.ly/Z04qU3 and put it in your agenda. I'll also bring you some news about it here, over the next few days.
