Morning light filters through the remnants of morning fog in Golden Ears Provincial Park. I entitled this image "Second Chance" as the forest is second growth. Remnants of the huge trees that once grew here can be found throughout the area. Perhaps now that this area is protected parkland these trees will grow to maturity so that future generations can stand in awe at their size and beauty. Only a stones throw away outside of the park boundary similar trees of this size are being "harvested" once again.
