I thought an afternoon trip would be enough so I sped fast to Toledo by a bullet train, a 70km stretch from Madrid. After some 30 minutes I was standing here and was awe inspired by this place. Night was falling fast and I needed a tripod, but goodness I did not have a tripod with me. I thought I would be walking long and hard so I left my tripod in the hotel. Big mistake! I was right here with 13th century architecture in one of the most picturesque cities on earth about to shoot a twilight scene without a tripod. No way! I decided to just come back the next day with a tripod (which would be my last day in Spain to shoot). “Sorry there is no 5:30pm train, next available train to Madrid is 9:20pm”, the station officer told me. Undaunted, I went back to this place and waited for this very hour. I told myself I would never leave Toledo without my usual night shoot. It turned out I could get a decent shot using only that rocky fence by the roadside and a little patience! After this shoot, I lingered a while in the city center nearby Alcazar and Cathedral before I took the last train to Madrid. Toledo is a world all its own. Small town with very nice crowd, good shops and a little big wonder considering its past and historical relevance.

Thanks everyone for your much appreciation!
