Last Light on Pinnalces High Peaks

Ansel Adams used to teach to work the viewer's eye towards the center of every print. During printing, he would add a slight burn to the edges of every print. It was subtle and non-obtrusive, but is served the goal of preventing the eye from exiting the frame. We can do the same with digital; yet, I find the burn/dodge tools in Photoshop to be a bit rough. Instead, I accomplish my burning and dodging with the help of an Overlay layer, mask, and brush.
