Now, this snowflake... it's a bit different from the others! Or at least my magnification and framing makes it seem that way. This was a very large plate snowflake that had very blocky branches... I found it pulled me in when I framed it this way. The tones of grey remind me of snowflakes "photographed" by electron microscopes, such as this: http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2010/12/snowflakes-by-microscope/?pid=832
