I was coming down from the polar-frozen summit of Mount Camino, in the Prealpi Biellesi, over Oropa (Piedmont, Northern Italy and Western Alps). I remained up there at 2388 meters just ten minutes for some pictures and my beard was already surrounded by the first icicles!, while a mate told me looking at his Suunto watch that we were -12° C.
Not so far from the top lays the old Capanna Renata mountain hut and there I went, trying to reheat me. Incredibly amazed, I saw the landlady had several Guinness bottles on a table. Never found one in a hut before. So this picture celebrated our happy meeting!
