Back to Elgol under a thinning sheet of cloud, with some promise of good lighting at sunset. Soon the sun came out through gaps to the west, and spread beautiful golden light on the shore and the yellow cliffs. It was high tide, which seems to be better at Elgol for choice of foregrounds. I spotted attractive rocks on the nearer part of the beach, and settled there for most of the shoot, enjoying the different lighting effects as the sun dropped towards sunset.
