We generally identify ourselves as the traveller which seems to mean that our journey is outside us - through the world, through our lives, through its trials and tribulations and so on. In actual fact the journey is within us in the sense that all that happens (both inside and outside) must help in our evolution and development which is a continuous process throughout our lives. This evolution must take place inside us. The events that take place in our lives, both inside and outside of ourselves, must and do, shape us and it is this process that must help us evolve . This is the journey that is the one referred to here and it is the only one that matters . . . the rest is what passes us by.
