In just a few weeks I'll be going to Namibia again for our annual Namibia Untamed workshop there. Actually, we're doing two workshops this year because the first one filled up in just one day. And since it's my favourite country in Africa, I don't mind one bit to spend a month there. :-)

When most people think about the desert, they think nothing can live there because it's too hot and there's no water. But there's actually quite a lot of wildlife in the desert, it's just smaller and more difficult to find - you just have to know where to look.

Here's a little web-footed gecko that we saw on a previous workshop in Namibia - a tiny little fellow that looked very fragile from up close.

Squiver Photo Tours & Workshops

We were the first company in the world to offer a specialized nature photography tour to Namibia many years ago, and it has since become our most copied tour. Many other companies now offer similar trips, but dont' let that fool you - none of the workshop leaders has neither the experience nor the artistic accolades that we do.

If you seriously want to improve your landscape and night photography, while having a great time with a small group of like-minded enthusiasts - this is the trip for you. All tours for this year are fully booked, but you can already reserve a spot for the 2014 trip.

Hope to see you there!
