I hired a boat for a week many moons ago on the 'Broads' in the east of england. The Broads are a set of small inlet canals that weave in and out across a flat part of the English country side. the boat i hired was motorised but whilst cruising along we came across a few sailing boats (as you can see here), sailing is not easy fullstop but sailing along small canals takes an extreme amount of skill as they need to be tacked more or less every minute subject to the wind direction/canal orientation. i got real lucky with this shot as one of these skilful yacht man sped past me, this really was a quick snap which i think turned out very nice ? image was taken with my first ever digital camera the canon 300d, mono conversion in elements.
