On the summit of the Buchberg (417 meters above sea level) is a limestone quarry in which snails and mussels can be found from the time of the Paratethys, named after the sea that covered the Weinviertel 17 million years ago.

This shot with the Nikon D800 and the 16-35 mm lens is part of the elements study and will be used in my upcomming creation portfolio. Processed with the vivid colors of the Kodak Portra film emulation.
