This is La Mina Falls, in El Yunque National Park, Puerto Rico. This is a pretty popular attraction, and I knew if I wanted a shot of it, I would have to be the first one into the park for two reasons. First, for light... direct sunlight kills waterfall shots, and two, to beat the crowd. This a popular place for people to come for the day to swim. We got to the park shortly after the gates opened at 7am, and made it to the falls far before anyone else did. By the time we were hiking out, many people were on their way in, hauling coolers and lounge chairs with them. Being in a rainforest is such a unique feeling. Very cool place.
