I took this photo in the Laguna San Rafael, in Chile. After a 4-hour navigation from Puerto Chacabuco (Aysen Region) we reached this amazing area where the Glaciar San Rafael ends. It is possible to navigate very close to the glacier, just a few tenths of meters using a small zodiac. In this area the water is almost completely covered by pieces of ice of different sizes forming something similar to a soup of ice. The boat must move slowly among the small icebergs (not all so small) and it is possible to take shots almost at the water level as in this case.
