According to the National Trust, the myth was that the Causeway was the handiwork of giant, Finn McCool, who had attempted to build a bridge linking Ireland to Scotland. Made up of an undulating network of approximately 40,000 basalt columns projecting into the ocean, the Giant’s Causeway forms several miles of Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coastal route.I have HDR'zed this shot, but since it was quite a gloomy day, with the occasional burst of sunshine, I could only play with that.
