A shot from a couple nights ago at Mono Lake, CA. Tufa, a type of limestone, forms in a variety of ways at Mono Lake, but the most visible and remarkable formations are the towers that grace Mono's shoreline. The greatest concentration of these towers is located at the South Tufa grove.This shot is a combo of star trails and a shooting star blended with the last single milky way frame of the time lapse.
