I wanted to do something different last night. And I'm pretty sure I succeeded. I'm not sure that squiggle fits under the strict definition of a pattern but that's not stopping me. I get so tired of other drivers not following the path I want them to when I'm shooting car trails. So I decided to do it myself. I set up my tripod on the ground, put it on 10 second timer with a 30 second exposure and went for a slalom through the streetlights. A storm was brewing last night which added to the sky, but this one wasn't going to be complete until I hit it with the oil paint filter in Photoshop. I know it's bad, but I love that filter. Another guilty pleasure I'll just need to be OK with. Gear used: Canon 6D, Canon 17mm Tilt Shift lens, Gitzo Tripod with Arca Swiss Z1 Head, Honda Odyssey.
