I had the pleasure of photographing these two sweet Great Horned Owl branchlings. It was also the first time I had heard that term. Apparently the owlets go from nestlings to branchlings and then to fledglings. They are only approximately 8 weeks old but losing their downy feathers and they are starting to fly. It was a lovely spring evening just before sunset. Photographed at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy with Ray Barlow :) I could have photographed them all evening.

Happy almost Friday!!
