"Shashi Lodge," an architectural symbol in the district town of Mymensingh, Bangladesh built by the zaminder of Muktagachha Babu Shashi Kanta Acharya Maharaja. Babu Maharaja Surya Kanta Acharya built this magnificently designed the palace and named it after his son Shashi Kanta Acharya. The lodge was razed to the ground by an earthquake on June 1, 1897.There is a statue of a bathing 'Venus' made of white stone in the middle of the fountain in front while another surrounded by white stone is found inside the palace glorifying this palace. The different kinds of woodwork with beautiful design have also historical value.
